WiRE Business Network Leader (Women in Rural Enterprise)
Julie Gingell, a Professional Organiser based in Braintree, Essex, voluntarily runs the Colchester WiRE business network.
Meetings are free and are held every 6 weeks on a Monday evening for women running their own business or thinking of starting a business.
Meetings are aimed at being informative, supportive and friendly and offer women the opportunity to network and do business with other like-minded women. The meetings have a wide variety of formats including guest speaker presentations, the opportunity for women within the group to present their own businesses and discussions.
Members are generally based within a 20 mile radius of Colchester and are diverse in terms of age, type of business and business aspirations. There isn't a typical type of member or business and it doesn't matter where you live, rural is a state of mind rather than postcode.
